Day 3 of OrangeTheory’s 8-Week Challenge: Finding Strength and Momentum

Day 3 of OrangeTheory’s 8-Week Challenge: Finding Strength and Momentum

I’m on Day 3 of OrangeTheory’s 8-week challenge, and so far, I’m feeling strong and motivated. It’s surprising how quickly the body remembers past routines—muscle memory is truly fascinating. Even though I haven’t been hitting the gym consistently before this, my body seems to be adapting fast. Today, I tackled a strength workout, and while I’m certain the soreness will kick in tomorrow, I’m feeling really good about pushing through.

One of the best parts of this challenge so far is how it’s lifting my mood. Exercise really is a game-changer for mental clarity and overall energy. Speaking of energy, I’m trying not to rely too heavily on energy drinks, but for this first week, they’re my crutch. Hopefully, as I find my rhythm, I’ll need them less and can rely more on the natural energy that comes from consistent exercise and good nutrition.

They say it takes 21 days of consistency to build a habit, and I’m curious to test that theory for myself. I’ve always been someone who starts strong but struggles to maintain that drive midway through. This time, I want to prove to myself that I can see it through to the end. It’s a personal challenge not just for my fitness goals but also for my mindset. Can I stay the course and follow through?

The next few weeks are packed with commitments, so I’ll have to be intentional about carving out time for my workouts. But I’m genuinely looking forward to rebuilding my strength and working toward my dream body. I’ve missed the sense of accomplishment that comes with staying consistent, and I’m determined to stay on track this time around.

To anyone else working toward their goals: keep pushing! Progress, no matter how small, is still progress. Let’s keep showing up for ourselves every day. Have a great one!

xoxo,

Alejandra
