Today, I embarked on Deepak Chopra's 21-Day Meditation Challenge, a journey of self-discovery and mindfulness. The challenge consists of 21 audio recordings, each lasting about 12 to 15 minutes. Every session begins with reflections and insights, focusing on the concepts of abundance, love, and gratitude. It’s a perfect opportunity to reset and embrace a new phase of life with intention.
Day 1 Reflections
As I wrapped up Day 1, I took a moment to reflect on the experience. Sitting in silence and attempting to tune out the surrounding noises was challenging, yet rewarding. At one point, I felt a slight tingling sensation around my third eye — a sign, perhaps, that I was tapping into something deeper within myself.
This isn’t my first time doing the challenge. Previously, I paired the meditations with journaling, which added another layer of introspection. This time, I’ve decided to use these blog posts as a way to chronicle my journey. My goal is to quiet my mind, immerse myself in gratitude, and create space for all the abundance life has to offer.
Post-Meditation Energy Shift
Interestingly, before today’s meditation session, I felt groggy and lethargic. However, that sensation quickly shifted. I got out of bed and found myself diving into a cleaning spree — one task leading naturally to the next. It’s amazing how meditation can subtly influence your energy and mindset, helping you move through your day with a sense of purpose.
What I’m Thankful For
Today, I am deeply thankful for my body. It’s a gift I often take for granted, but it’s carried me through so much. I’m grateful for the ability to breathe freely, to move with ease, and to shift my activity level when needed to increase my energy. Good health is something I cherish, and today I honor my body for all that it does.
Looking Ahead
As I continue this challenge, I hope to deepen my practice of gratitude and mindfulness. Each day will bring new lessons and reflections, and I’m eager to see how this journey unfolds. For anyone considering a meditation practice, I highly recommend starting with this challenge. It’s a beautiful way to reset, refocus, and welcome positive energy into your life.
