If there’s one thing that has been a constant in my life, it’s my Pinterest boards. Ever since I discovered Pinterest in 2010, I’ve been obsessed with curating ideas, inspirations, and dreams on virtual boards. From my dream wedding and ideal home to my “New Year, New Me” goals, I’ve built an entire digital vision of the life I want to live.
Over the years, those boards have changed (thankfully!). Looking back, I can’t help but laugh at the black and light blue chevron print and over-the-top wedding ideas I once thought were the height of style. Let’s just say I’m glad I never walked down the aisle with those pins as my guide! But even as my tastes evolved, Pinterest remained a constant—an ongoing space for me to explore, dream, and visualize.
Creating these boards has become a kind of ritual for me. Each night before bed, I scroll through my Pinterest feed, pinning images that speak to me. Whether it’s an elegant living room, a cozy reading nook, or even a bold outfit, these images help me wind down and imagine the possibilities. This nightly habit has become my way of visualizing the life I want and setting small intentions as I drift off to sleep.
And I’m finding that these boards are more than just pretty pictures—they’re a way to keep my goals top of mind. Little by little, I’ve been bringing some of my Pinterest boards to life! A few favorite pins inspired the layout of my living room, and I’ve started incorporating pieces into my wardrobe that echo my “Style Inspo” board. The best part? I’m slowly realizing that what I once thought was out of reach is closer to reality than I ever imagined.
